Resource Overview: This podcast series is a helpful look at conflict in and on our community transit systems. We hope that by starting a discussion that provides helpful tips and ideas, transit drivers can do their jobs safely in every community they serve: urban, rural and tribal transit environments.
These nine targeted podcasts are 15 minutes in length and can be used in driver safety meetings, to inform policymakers and to educate the entire transit community in how to ensure our drivers are safe. The podcasts feature a variety of transit leaders, drivers, trainers, and psychologists who focus on the following topics:

This website and the resources it houses were developed through a grant from the Federal Transit Administration. The grant project team includes the Texas Transportation Institute, the Southwest Transit Association and the Community Transportation Association of America. The team was funded to develop a program of Interactive Learning Resources and Guidance for Improving Crime Prevention and Safety for the Public and Transit Employees in response to the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Crime Prevention and Public Safety grant program (FTA-2019-007-TSO).
